Here’s a simple recipe for Grilled Chicken that's flavorful and juicy:
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Prepare the Marinade:
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Marinate the Chicken:
- Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (for best flavor, marinate for 2–4 hours).
Preheat the Grill:
- Heat the grill to medium-high, around 400°F (200°C).
Grill the Chicken:
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess.
- Place the chicken breasts on the grill.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Rest and Serve:
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with your choice of side dishes like grilled vegetables, rice, or salad.
