2600 Factory Workers Receive Relief Cards — Monthly Subsidy, Insurance, and Education Promised for Labor Families

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken a historic and revolutionary step toward the welfare of the labor class by launching the "Maryam Nawaz Ration Card Program" for industrial workers across the province. In a major event held in Okara, 2600 deserving factory workers received ration cards, which will entitle them to monthly financial aid, insurance benefits, and educational opportunities for their children.
The ration cards were distributed by Member National Assembly Chaudhry Riaz-ul-Haq Judge and Member Provincial Assembly Mian Muhammad Munir. The event was attended by prominent officials including Director Social Security Sahiwal Muhammad Zulfiqar, Assistant Commissioner Okara Rab Nawaz Chadhar, Deputy Director Social Security Muhammad Hassan, and a large number of factory workers and their families.

The Social Security Department has also announced plans to build a state-of-the-art school where the children of workers will receive quality education. Officials hinted at more public welfare programs to be announced soon under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz.
