Visits Imambargahs, Reviews Processions, Directs Foolproof Three-Layer Security and Surveillance Measures

District Police Officer (DPO) Irfan Ali Sammo conducted detailed visits to various areas of Sadiqabad and the city of Rahim Yar Khan to review the security arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram. His visits were aimed at ensuring a peaceful and secure environment during the sacred month.
In Sadiqabad, DPO Sammo visited the Central Imambargah, Mohalla Maswan, and Langar Hussaini, where he inspected the security setup in and around the religious places. He also paid a visit to Haideri Trust and held meetings with the organizers and in-charges of Imambargahs and processions.
The DPO issued firm instructions to police officers to ensure foolproof, three-layered security fencing of all processions and religious gatherings. He emphasized that every individual entering the premises must be thoroughly checked, and that law enforcement should keep a strict watch on suspicious individuals.
During his interaction with the organizers, DPO Sammo inquired about any concerns and assured full cooperation from the police department. He said miscreants will be dealt with an iron hand and no compromise will be made on the security of mourners.
The spokesperson of the police department stated that all ongoing processions and gatherings are being closely monitored, and DPO Sammo himself took a comprehensive review of the overall security situation across the district.
