If these are absent—even in a palace—she will still feel like the unluckiest person alive.
🧕 When Complaints Are Dismissed
Many men, when their wives express dissatisfaction, respond with,
"She’s eating, drinking, and living a good life—what more does she want?"
But food and shelter are her basic rights, not favors. Constantly reminding her of these things only weakens the emotional bond.
A wife doesn't marry just to eat or sleep—she marries for companionship.

A woman may leave her job, her homeland, her parents—all just to be by your side. She expects that you will become her family, her friend, her support, and her home.

Sheikh Al-Shaarawi was once asked,
"What advice did you give your son at the time of marriage?"
He replied:
"Son! This woman left her father, mother, and family to be with you. So become all of them for her!"
