Hundreds Gather to Honor the Late Father of PRO to DPO Zeeshan Randhawa; Police, Lawyers, Politicians and Locals Attend with Deep Respect
Rahim Yar Khan (GN Ghalib News Online) – In a heartfelt farewell, Sub-Inspector Telecommunication Sultan Mahmood Randhawa, father of PRO to DPO Zeeshan Mahmood Randhawa, was laid to rest with honor and reverence after his passing due to divine will. His funeral prayer was attended by a large number of police officers, senior officials, lawyers, journalists, religious leaders, and citizens from all walks of life.
Among those present were SP Investigation Nasrullah Warraich, senior officers from various police branches, and social and political personalities. A floral wreath was presented on behalf of DIG Telecommunication Lahore, brought specially from Bahawalpur by DSP Telecommunication Malik Gul Sher, who also offered condolences to the deceased's sons — Zeeshan, Noman, and Abdul Rehman — embracing them with deep grief and solidarity.
The late Sub-Inspector Randhawa served honorably in Punjab Telecommunication, having also held the position of In-charge Police Wireless Control. His colleagues, including officers from Security Branch, SHOs of multiple police stations, Traffic Police, Command and Control Room, and other units, paid their respects with a strong show of unity.
Community leaders, such as former MPA Chaudhry Shafiq, Peace Committee Member Riaz Ahmed Noori, lawyers including ex-President District Bar Hassan Nawaz Niazi, and several journalists, also attended the funeral rites, which concluded with the burial in the local cemetery.
Condolence visits at the residence of the deceased continue, as the city mourns the loss of a dutiful officer and respected community member.
