Crispy Fried Bhindi
This is a crunchy snack or side dish, perfect for those who love something crispy.
Ingredients:
- 250g Bhindi (okra)
- 2 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
- Wash and dry the Bhindi. Cut off the ends and slice it lengthwise into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and salt.
- Toss the Bhindi in this flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the Bhindi in batches until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with a dip or as a side dish.
