Emergency Alert for Ashura; Strict Action Ordered Against Non-Supply of Medicines

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ahmed Usman Javed visited the District Headquarters (DHQ) City Hospital Okara, accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Rashid Hidayat. During the visit, the DC inspected various wards of the hospital and inquired about the medical facilities being provided to patients.
He reviewed the stock of medicines in the hospital dispensary and instructed staff to display updated lists of available medicines prominently. He also ordered that the medicine records be maintained in a well-organized and systematic manner.
The Deputy Commissioner spoke directly with the attendants of patients to gather feedback on the medical services being provided.
In light of the upcoming Ashura, he directed the hospital staff in the emergency and medical wards to remain on high alert and ensure full preparedness.
DC Ahmed Usman Javed emphasized that continuous efforts should be made to provide quality healthcare services to patients. He warned that strict action would be taken against any negligence in the supply of medicines.
He further stated that all medical services must be provided to patients in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Punjab Government, ensuring that no patient is deprived of their right to proper treatment.
