Sautéed Garlic Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh, if available)
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat the Pan:

    • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts.
    • Sauté the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

    • Lower the heat to medium. In the same skillet, add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic.
    • Sauté the garlic for about 1 minute, or until fragrant (be careful not to burn it).

  4. Combine and Season:

    • Add the thyme and rosemary to the garlic butter sauce, stirring to combine.
    • Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them with the garlic butter sauce. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  5. Garnish and Serve:

    • Sprinkle the sautéed garlic chicken with fresh parsley.
    • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side (optional).
